How do I reserve my session?
By clicking the "Book now" button, you can choose your desired date and time using the calendar of availability.
For newborn sessions it is advisable to book an estimated date, and change it if necessary after the baby is born, and for all other sessions this date can also be changed if needed.
The booking fee is non refundable although changeable and secures your date and time. Also covering my time preparing for and shooting your session, including any communication necessary to make your family session a success, such as emails, phone calls, or a video conference.
When do I pay the remaining balance?
After our session you'll receive a slideshow of your images. Once you click on that link, you'll have 24 hours to enjoy all that we captured! Only after you view the images do you decide which package to purchase. Once that decision is made, you'll pay the remaining balance and gain access to your gallery where you'll have the ability to download the number of digital images specific to your chosen package and to use your print credit.
What if I only want digital images?
In this age of smart phones and social media, digital images are a must! That is why every package includes a select number of fully edited high resolution images for you to share with family and friends.
What is print credit?
Each package includes a complimentary print credit in the hopes that you will do more than just save digital images of your beautiful family on a hard drive somewhere. Purchasing wall art, albums, or other heirloom products creates a feeling of love and nostalgia every time you enter the room and see the beautiful memories your family has created!
Print credits are nontransferable and expire 30 days after package purchase.
Do I have to use the print credit?
No, you are under no obligation to use the print credit. However, I strongly encourage you to celebrate this special time in your life by investing in wall art and other family heirlooms that showcase the love and connection you have for one another. Print credits are nontransferable and expire after 30 days.
Do I have to order prints through you?
If you choose to use your print credit, or make any additional purchases within your gallery store, the online gallery is linked to a professional lab, which produces heirloom quality prints and products that are guaranteed to last. I have taken much time in custom choosing products which best match both image results and my monitor and how it is calibrated to match this lab's color profile, which means you will receive accurate images with every order. I also quality check every product before you receive it.
The same cannot be said with consumer labs such as other hight street developing stores.
What if I want to upgrade my package?
It's easy to fall in love with all of your images - in fact, I hope that you do! If you decide you want to upgrade after purchasing the Basic or Medium package, you may do so at any time - even weeks later! Upgrading your package will also upgrade your print credit!
How long does each session last?
The short answer is about an hour. But when possible I prefer to take the time that we need.
Babies and little children determine how many breaks we need for feedings, changing, and snacks. Therefore the newborn session take between 2-3 hours.
We want happy participants, so we'll go as slow or as fast as they need while ensuring that loving moments between family members are captured!
Do you provide session guides or styling guides?
Yes, I have guides that help you prepare for our session so that we can have the best possible session and images possible! After you complete the booking process, you'll receive a styling guide, which will help you select outfit colors and textures that photograph best; a session prep guide, which will help you know how to best prepare for our session; and a short questionnaire, which will help put us all at ease as we get to know each other better.
